Overview

What This Certification Covers

The Certified Customer Complaints Specialist certification equips professionals with the specialised knowledge and skills needed to receive, assess, investigate and resolve customer complaints fairly and efficiently, in line with regulatory requirements and international best practices, within financial institutions, fintech companies, insurance companies, and government and regulatory bodies.

The certification develops participants' ability to design effective complaint management systems, communicate professionally with customers in difficult situations, analyse complaint data to identify root causes and systemic risks, and prepare reports for senior management and regulators. It emphasises practical application and case studies, consumer protection principles and fair treatment of customers, and using complaints as a tool to improve products and services and reduce conduct and reputational risk.

Like every ACS credential, the CCCS is awarded only after a formal assessment of defined qualification outcomes — evaluating understanding, application and professional judgement, not attendance alone.
